No disrespect, but what is the reason behind that?

Oh thats james ensuring you don't hotlink or link up images  from another site like photobucket.
A lot of newbies seem to have done this.
Just ignore him he didn't mean anything spiteful-

The list of reasons is long.
We have had problems ranging from sizes of the images, to some causing pages to refuse to load without a password which has screwed up the place in the past. And it is easy enough to upload here and keeps Big Pete happy.

It saves loads of load time for us stuck in the stone age (dial-up).

Plus you will get a slap on the wrist by a moderator, too.

The secret is not to let too much light in - & poke him in the head with a broom handle if he get's too close.

Usually works, if that fails then I guess you'll need to switch on the 'perimeter fence' again.
