lol...how can anyone who's national dishes include ripping SNAILS from their shells and tearing FROG'S legs off to EAT,  even start to mock other nations food dishes..?..........I mean, well, a nice piece of beef is one thing, but snails and frogs? :-X..........Jeez..........commoner :P ;D

Mr Chirac is clearly in a time-warp. Even 30 years ago our food was the most bland in Europe, but thanks to the wealth of immigrants in our country Britians now have the widest range of cuisines imaginable.
Meanwhile the French are still eating things found in the pond at the bottom of the garden.... and the one time I tried snails (at the insistance of my French girlfriend) I got really ill!

Snails Rule!! But so does a lot of brit food!! Campbells Tomato soup, Yorkshire puddings..Leg of Lamb! Mint sauce/jelly YUMMMMM

Personally, i found french food to be lacking in size. everything we ate over there were in portions not big enough to feed a baby.

Like has already been said, when the French stop eating SNAILS and FROGS then they can start mocking other countries food....  ::)

It's a funny old do....!
When I first heard it, I immediatly thought that our typical British sense of humour would have laughed this one off...
...and not taken it seriously... ;)...!
After all, a favourite British pastime is mocking the French, so I'm not too upset when they do the same to us... ;)... ;D...!
I just think, with a laugh, "it's our turn now!..."...LOL...!
Come on, Brits! Look on the bright side of life....!
..at least we won the Battle of Agincourt... ;)... ;D...!
..and we dont talk with a feminine accent..Sacre bleu, mon ami....LOL...!
