Probably the questions got mistranslated from Punjabi to English. If you don't believe me go to an unemployment center and sign on, the English instructions are at the bottom of the page after about 27 other languages ::) Heck even Welsh is ahead of English, and the Welsh hate being joined to the rest of Great Britain and want independence. Go figure!

I got 7. :o So much for being a typical Brit. What a load of old cobblers.

I agree with your last statement Doug

As for the test...

... I couldn't be bothered. Waste of space. It would be nice to see a question along the lines of "You see someone in a (X coloured) uniform. Which service do they represent?". I'd feel less likely to die if I was ever seen in uniform if people had a clue what uniform it was

Wifey got an "ethnicity survey" the other day. She was completely baffled - over 100 choices of ethnicity. White (English), White (Irish) etc etc. Completely baffling, particularly for anyone of any mixed race decent! ::)

8 out of 15.  Not bad for being across the pond.

Almost 60m people live in the UK. By what factor do the native-born English outnumber their Scots or Welsh neighbours?

A: By nine to one

B: By seven to one

C: By six to one

There's some essential info. ::) ::)

Maybe we should have read the book first chaps. ::)
The government has published Life in the United Kingdom, a 150-page book for prospective British citizens. If you want the passport, you'll have to read the book and then answer 24 questions drawn from its contents.

...if it's only published in the English language then that'll filter a few of them out... ;D...!
LOL...!

Paul.

...mind you, it could also filter a lot of us out, as well... ::)... ;D...!
