3 weeks notification to be personally signed by the PM or his sidekick "Two Jags".

I think if the RAF fired any kind of shot, all the passengers would sue, the airline would sue, Mrs Miggins whose prize winning daffodils started to wilt as the shot was fired would sue. Every horse owner and rider would sue in a 300mile radius, and a coroner would suggest a helpline be set up to warn people of when and where future hijacking will be taking place... ;) Whats more, it would be even more farcical as Mrs B (sorry, she's styling herself as our "First Lady" now) would probably quite happily represent them all against the MoD!

LMAO, funniest thing i have read in a while ;D ;D

I don't doubt there's a lot of truth in that. I can't help wondering what the point of sending the escort was in the first place.

PS. A famous quote springs to mind for some reason. "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off..........! :o :D

If the culprit was a cell phone, I've been led to believe that any type of phone is a dangerous weapon... I can't count how often I've been told someone had ther ears talked off or, worse, they were talked to death.  :o
I suppose we shouldn't believe everything we hear. :-/ :P ;)

I spotted this in today's Sun. Not that I believe anything they say but if they got the basic facts right it answers some questions. Blasted mobile phones. I reckon they should send the owner the bill for this lot.

Don't forget the incovenience to Mrs Miggins' son-in law Bob & 102 of his fellow-passengers. A bus ride from Stansted to Coventry can't be pleasant at the best of times.

An inquiry as to how the phone got there shall be a challenging one. I propose somebody left it there when getting off the plane. :P

LOL :D Could have been dropped by one of the cleaners at Faro. I assume they clean the cabin on these charter flights before the return trip. If they do their job properly they would have found it. The world & his wife seem to have at least one of these things nowadays. ::)

PS. If I had my way they would be banned from all forms of public transport.

About a year ago, in a multi-dept. store, I was walking by the "dog food supply" section and saw another customer on his cell phone; couldn't stop from asking him if he'd forgotten what his dog had asked him to get. ::)
