I see ALL ITEMS HAVE BEEN REMOVED!!!!!! I have emailed this guy telling him to look here. I believe he is sincerly sorry for the upset caused amongst the forum.

As he is.  I was in contact with him earlier.  Sent him here.  I got an email back and seems that things are taken care of.  So enough has been said now.  Hopefully this will not be happening again anytime soon.

"Really didn't realise i was causing so much trouble, sorry i feel really bad now, i wish you had told me about this site earlier. ALL items have been removed and
will NOT be on ebay again, i would appreciate it if you could make an immediate post about this. REALLY SORRY AND UNAWARE OF UPSET CAUSED. I was only trying to offer a service. SORRY AGAIN. Please make a post for me."

The end ;)

Well, I'm glad that that was all solved and it appears to just be an honest mistake.

You know, since he seemly quickly pulled everything-I think he made an honest mistake and is doing the best thing he can to fix it.

My Lord, what a deal!

I mean, *cough* he should be persecuted or...something.

Nah, I'm just joking, judging that he has the knowledge to put THAT many files onto a DVD, I bet he knew perfectly well what he was getting himself into, you'd think however, he'd sell it for more.

He knew what he was doing.  I sincerely doubt he could not know this was piracy.  It's been reported to eBay though, so let's see what happens...

Sor - if you had read my reply earlier you would have noticed that Just Flight replied when I asked if they'd like to take a look to see if any of their products were on the disk, and this is the pertinent excerpt..

Thanks for sending the link. I purchased one of these a few weeks ago from
the same guy under a different alias

This wasn't the first time and probably wasn't the last time this'll happen!

Also, on another point, my ebay username is amazingly similar to my SimV username, and it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to realise I was one and the same and use SimV as a way of taking out his frustration at being rumbled. As I said above, he appears to be a repeat "offender", and I'd have been cautious of extending him an invite here, particularly as one or two payware companies were/are involved. I've also stated my views here in a less discreet way here than when I was contacting him through ebay!

Fair enough, if he found us by his own browsing, then fair play, but I'd have been very cautious inviting someone who's doing this into the forum.

Also, when he's selling this stuff, he's potentially losing SimV some users...

:)

Lets hope it was a mistake.

As for whoever it was that questioned where the crime was, would you download music off the internet burn it onto CD 5 times and sell it on Ebay?

It is clearly illegal.

Price is irrelevant. Obviously in this case it wasn't big bucks, but do this all year long with no-one noticing and you'd make profit. You can now buy 25 CDs for only

Not even remotely the same thing.  The music isn't legally publically available, for starters.
