changing the suffix to .xxx would makes thing A HELL OF A LOT EASIER for the child protector companies (cyber nanny and such) to block porn websites. just stick a code that says "www.website.xxx = BLOCK"

It is a good idea, but do you honestly think that porn sites are going to change to a new suffix at at extra cost?
It plainly states

There are going to be complaints as to the cost and then if they try to enforce it the "freedom violations" will come out.
And to think of it with the exsesive cost that means that others will be making millions by singleing out one specific type website.
I personally dont surf porn, but I also have nothing against it I am one that belives in the freedoms most have and if porn sites is there thing then they should be allowed to go to them without unneeded hassle.

This crap about "protecting the children" is becomming the excuse for anyone with a personal agenda, and the way that parents can cover up themselves for thier lack of parental control. Parents now day always want to place the blame on someone or something else instead of taking responsibility for thier kids and I'm tired of it!!

There are many ways that parents can protect their chidren from porn or anything else they deem unsafe for their kids, there is software available but the easiest and safest way for kids to use the web is plain and simple, parental supervision!!!!!!!

If you don't have the time to be with your child while they are on the web, or not the time to install some simple software, if you can't find the time to make certain that your child isn't watching something inappropriate on TV or listening to music that may be "violent" then do everyone favor stop having kids!

Your children are a burden on my way of life and I don't want them! and even though that sounds harsh I can bet there are millions more that share my opinion
