Episode III (Star Wars)

Postby jordonj » Sun May 08, 2005 5:59 pm

I read a review of the movie here.  I'm not particularly expecting to be floored by the move (even before I read the review).

Of course, between kinda outgrowing Star Wars, and the fact that the movies are no longer new, I'm not particularly disappointed either!

And come on...what dramatic moment tops "No Luke, I am your father"

I'm looking forward to the movie, I think it might be pretty good (but , I haven't read any of the reviews nor will I until after I have seen it).

I read the book, but wasn't too impressed.  The only problem with that is that action movies don't translate too well into books.  Action sequences are actually pretty boring to read and this one has a LOT of action...

I'm just hoping they show it with subtitles at the local cinema...

American to British subtitles?  :)

Darth Vader:  I need to take a dump...

subtitles:

Darth Vader: I've got to go to the loo...

I'm kinda disappointed with how the legend of Boba Fett was explained...

My favorite was that he was one of three soliders left standing when 1000 on his side fought 10,000 clones.

I also read the book and lets just say I hope they made a better movie than they did a book. Action stuff should be good but it has far too much plot and talking bits for me. All I wanted from this movie was to see Vader kick loads of Jedi a**. No plot, just Jedi a** kicking Sith action for an hour or so.
