I used to enjoy the air show they had at Finningly every year, how things change. Still it is good to see it open again.

;D. V bombers at Finingley are a bit before my time - I've got a few mates who went through when it was used for Navigation and Airman Aircrew training in the 80s and 90s. Do they have you driving through any of the camp to get to the airport?

....Yep they do so.....as I said ...the Guardroom and all the old hangars. office blocks and married quarters.......very interesting especially to any one who "worked" there..............the terminal and carparks are just addons as it were to the original airfield....commoner. :)
