Got back from my glider flights, and it was so cool.

You can change the file size in Irfanview. go to: file>batch conversion/rename then under "output directory", select a place for the new files to go. I use My Docs. Then under "Batch conversion settings" click "options" then use the slider to select a number and click OK. I would start with 90 on the slider. double click on the image that you want to resize up at the top part of the window. then click start. check the size of the new file,  if its to big then delete it and go through the whole process agin, but move the slider down a little, maybe 85 this time and keep doing that untill you get it the size you want. It dosnt effect the visual quality of the pic very much at all when you do it this way.

PS, I hope my explaination makes sense  :P. If you have questions, dont hesitate to ask.

I have done that.  But I can't get the file sizes small enough to upload

Mail some to me and I'll resize and compress them with photoshop. Hardly any quality loss 8)

Sounds like fun.

Easiest way i have found to reduce file sizes...Just open them in Paint and click save.  Ive done this to my screenshots recently and no quality loss.  Ive dropped over 125K off a couple pics ;)

Yeah doing that will drop the file size a little. It's because as the pictures are, the JPGs are 100% uncompressed. When you save in paint it's something like 85% uncompressed, so the file's a little smaller. If you reduce to 800x* and they're still too big, give that a try.
