However, in the interest of the future of my great Country, I urge all UK voters to consider this manefesto.

My local Conservative Party representitive knocked on my door the other day...(bad move ...), and asked me who I was voting for....
I looked thoughtful for a while, while he rubbed his hands, then replied, "The Monster Raving Loony Party).... ....!
He quickly left, shutting the gate behind him....!
So much for my view of Party Politics at the moment... ...!
Been there, listened to them, thought, "What a load of wasters!"... ... ...!

LOL Wish the Raving Loonies had a candiate here. They would certainly get my vote.

I rather like this idea.

Our team of experts has decided that Income Tax has not proved popular with the public and will therefore be abolished. It was started in order to finance the Napoleonic war in 1799 and we now believe that the time is right to announce the cessation of hostilities with Napoleon. Some of the money left in the coffers will be used to fill in our part of the Channel Tunnel in case no one has mentioned it to the French. Any remaining money will be strategically placed on a horse at the 3-30 at Haydock Park at odds of at least 12/1 in order to see us through until the next election. Income Tax will be officially replaced by people lending the government a bob or two at the end of the week when we're a bit skint.

And this has my full support.

The Official Monster Raving Loony Party will not join the single European currency. We will invite all Europeans countries to JOIN THE POUND.

No Scott, the No politics rule only applies if the reader disagrees with what the writer has written.  If the reader and writer agree it is just common sense, if they disagree it is politics, which is banned.

I generally disagree with polititians (unless they're giving me a pay rise etc). Is that ok?

If you don't work for the government, then they wouldn't be the ones really doing it.   Of course, I suppose if you were making minimum wage, that would contradict that rule too.  lol
