There really should be a limit on how many times you can take the test, fer cryin' out loud.

I Pennsylvania there is a law, you have 3 times to past your licences test, if you fail then you must start over with a physical passing, then take your permit test (a book which if you CAN NOT read you will probally fail, you have to get 15 out of 18 qustions correct) then after 6 months of waiting and practicing you may try at the test...

But as far as what you are saying about there being a moaximum of times of being able to drive I don't think there is any law,

I did know that, actually.  There are all sorts of little towns scattered among Maine named after other places.  Paris, London, I think there's even a Moscow.

Incidentally, Portland (Oregon) is named after Portland, Maine.  The founders of the west coast variant were torn between naming their city Boston or Portland...they chose Portland.
