He is still hanging in there. But i would be surprised if he makes it another 24 hours. all his major organs are shutting down.

I agree with you, I honestly am just waiting to hear he has passed-it could happen any minute.  He could live a couple more days, it has been known to happen with people in his condition but it is somewhat unlikely.  I expect that all the church's in Rome will be ringing their bells soon.

Our news is reporting that he is still alive, but only barely....

Main reason I'm interested in him and his health is because he has suffered from Parkinsons dissease same as my late grandfather.  It has been interesing to see how he has been able to retain his speech and thoughts through the parkinsons, while my grandfather was pretty much disabled completely by the dissease in the last 3 years or so of his life.

Yeah...but remember, Parkinsons affect people differently...some don't loose their speech...one guy I knew ended up not being able to turn around without assistance.  Another ended up in a fetal contraction before death.

That is not entirely true.  A Catholic is not a Protestant.  The Catholic Church seperated (Western & Eastern-western being "Roman Catholic" and Eastern being the more nationalized churches such as the "Greek Orthodox") well before the Protestant Reformation.  This seperation occured in 1054.  These are the churches that are called "Catholic Churches."  The Pope is the Archbishop of Rome which is the head of the Western Catholic Church-which is more commonly called the "Roman Catholic Church" (because the leader is the Archbishop of Rome).

The churches that are called "Protestant" have their origins in the Protestant Reformation which happened in the 14th and 15th centuries.  Most people feel that Martin Luther started irt in 1517 with his "95 Thesis" but there was some reform before that.  These "Prostestant" churches that came to being as a result of the Prostestant Reform formed out of the Roman Catholic Church.  

So, therefore Catholic's and Prostestants are different.  But, they are both Christain groups-only with slightly different practices and beliefs.

As of this morning Hungarian TV are looking like pillocks as all last night all they did was broadcast Pope stuff, and he is still alive! Hungarian TV And what is worse is that this is a Catholic country I think some TV producers and journalist will be crucified sometime today

The vatican were supposed to release a statement on the pope's health at 5:00pm GMT but that has been delayed indefinately according to Sky News. Mabye a bad sign?

You know, I have always noticed the Vatican is very secretive and tends to change their plans a lot.  So, this isn't necessarily a bad sign-but there is no way to really know.
