news conferance soon. Likely to be on the hour. If your watching on tv watch for the two lights on the top floor to go out.

Sky News said the opposite strangely enough at about 1800 - apparently in the past, when the Pope has died, all the shutters are opened...

I'm sure we'll soon find out. :(

Yeah, too many different subdivisions in modern religion in my opinion...

...but still, it's a sad day when anyone dies, especially someone that has helped so many people and who so many have looked up to.  :(

Not sure how to comment on this, I'm not religious, don't particularly care about religion, but I know the Pope is (or was, whatever the case may be) a good fellow and only wanted good things for the world and people regardless of their religion or backgrounds, too bad their aren't more folks like him around.
It has been pretty obvious for about the last year or so that the dude was on his way out at any time.
Still no linked images allowed around here Paz! Naughty...

I feel the Vatican should have released a statement by now. Even if there has been no significant change. As they said on Sky news alot of people are gathered and its getting cold and wet. That way they could say it would be the last for the night unless there is a significant change in his condition.

They would agree. That is precisly why the Roman Catholic church is called Roman. It separates it. It is also referred to as the Roman Church. Call it the Catholic church and yes everyone knows you don't think protestant - but I was just being scientifically/dictionarily correct. When it comes to gambling you have to give what you offer and the law in courts will just say "Your silly fault!" lol

I am a pretty serious Roman Catholic and I have always admired this Pope.  He has done a lot of good things.

According to all the sources I have seen, he hasn't passed away yet-everyone is saying he is still in grave condition and near death.  This information could be wrong, but I haven't heard of him dying on the news or on any major website yet.

You just gotta give credit and admire a man who can have so many people stand up and look to him as any sort of figurehead.......heck, look how popular John Lennon became  ;).....although he was chastised for saying it...... :-/

BBC news says they think he will pass away in the night.

Oh and I'm sure drunk Irishmen would kill me Craig, but I haven't the time/energy to bother to speak to lunitics such as drunks - so don't worry! :D  Drunks can't understand a word - I am referring to sensible people who can understand logic, just like us lot here at Simviation... ;)
