I cant tell you how many times i have wished i could sit up in my room with a sniper rifle waiting for the next cat to appear in my back garden with a dead bird. would Garfield be a 10 pointer?

I'm not sure I see the argument here.  If you want to shoot a wild cat, well I guess I can't really make too good of an argument there.  But how can you tell whether or not that cat belongs to someone?  There's no way they'll allow you to shoot someone's pet (have two cats myself).

it'll never be brought in. I just thought it was pretty funny. I know Mr Fozzer has a dislike of them in his back garden. I believe Doug aswell.

I actually like cats. One does visit my garden sometimes but he's no problem. They can be a nuisance but I wouldn't dream of killing someone's pet. The best way to stop cats coming in your garden is to get one yourself. ;)

Craig respectfully retracts his statement concerning Hagar:)
My uncle and aunt had a cat however it didnt scare off the neighbours cat, and the two would hiss and fight with each other on a reular basis. Sadly their cat had to be put down last week. Now they are thinking about a dog. That should stop the cat:) Unless its like my dog, whos afraid of the things despite being a rather large Border Collie ::)

Border collies are usually afraid of everything they see, I have known many and they are all the same, bless.

I have a love for both doga and cats, I have a cay at the moment and if anyone tried to hurt her they would be very sorry.

LOL funny enough mines not that way. He'll run to the door when someone knocks and will start barking. Hes outside barking at fireworks and thunder. Very odd dog. But does chase shadows and stares at the lights on the ceiling alot. So that might explain it. :)

Ok,
Does this mean I should  mark you off my list of people who can come and visit then?

We've got 4 cats here ....... and I'm sure one of our neighbours would agree with open season on them. She has tried to make her garden like Fort Knox to keep the neighbourhood cats out... it doesn't work.
She reckons our 4 are like ninjas because when she comes out to chase them they have already vanished ;D ;D
