Il2 has been out for years and there is still yet to be a third party aircraft for it that hasn't required a patch to install.

I support Bjorn with the Strike Fighters proposal. At least then the CFS3 and Il2 people won't be head to head all the time.

I say a Train-Sim section.  It has the same open archetectureas the CFS and FS series, and probably has even more addons available.  Besides, train-sim.com needs some competition.  It's rather annoying having to click refresh about fifty times to log in, and then have to log in again if you download a file that takes over two hours(it's the same as flight-sim.com).

Well, Steve-O and me have some experience with SF, but I'm not the all-knowing-magician-of-doom when it comes to technical problems. Maybe Steve has some more experience...

I have a fair amount of experience with TS, although like Heinz Fiction I'm not that deep into the technical stuff.  I can do cab +sound files and that sort of stuff and i have a little time editing activeities and such, but other than that I'm not particularly knowledgeable.

Yeah I know some tech stuff about SF.
Not as much as I would like, but it's probably enough for troubleshooting and the sorts.
It's probably around the area of pretty-close-to-sixth-eighths-all-knowing-magician-of-doom.

I think that's because the developers like to ensure they are up to the standard of those in the game, and hence they get released in either the patches or updates...
