I dosnt look like anyone cares. noone seemed to care about spaceship one either. I was amazed by it, and told one of my freinds. He was so disinterested that he changed the subject before I finished my sentance. I think that noone cares, because it dosnt have to do with cars, cloths or the latest celebrity scandal. Its sad really.

It was sad when Leno was preaching to the audience about how momentous Space Ship 1 was.  Not theat he changed their minds tho'. :P

This caught me unawares as well.  Thankfully SBC does a decent job with good news. :)

well, he did it, made history.

i particulary did not like the FS version, something wrong with the elevators.

and the vc view, not exactly something i would fly in real life.

I did'nt even know to much about this until recently. I think its' really sad. I don't know where aviation is headed, but I'm a bit scared to find out. I wish the media would have hyped this up more.

Congrats Steve!!!!!!! ;D ;D

It's really sad that this has been so quiet.  I guess that the media is only supposed to print bad news today.  I wonder if this is how the world reacted to the Wright Brothers accomplishment.  Foz, Hagar; can you two enlighten me? ;D

Tis funny. It was one of the main features on the Channel 4 news when he did it. Though having said that, he didn't get nearly as much hype as Ellen Macarthur did after her round the world trip. But then, Fosset's trip was nothing in comparison.
