Is everybody that is having this problem running windows xp? Just asking...

No Jared. I'm on Me like a lot of other users. I don't think this has anything to do with the OS or the ISP as Woody couldn't get on last night but I could & we're both on AOL. One thing that might explain your particular problems. My Fox Four colleague Tom sent me this. Watch out for it.

Apparently NTL Broadband has been down for 3 days which also affects cable TV in some parts of the UK. Not sure if this is all connected.

I'm on NTL broardband and my service has never been down. I've had no problems getting in here either. Ozzy sent me an e-mail with a screen shot of the page he was getting saying the domain name was about to expire. All very strange.

...unfortunately - like IE it gets bundled with every new PC - been trying to remove it from my desktop PC for the last year - we (AOL and I) never got on...

The Internet is international old chap.

One thing about AOL. You can say what you like about it but these problems affect Outlook Express & M$ products more than they ever affected me. 8)

I just found it odd that they call it America Online even when its being sold and used in another country.

Well, you've had Triumph motorbikes in the US for many years. They're still Triumphs. ;)

It's called AOL UK over here.

Just imagine, it is even in Germany! My parents are on AOL, but I'm on Tiscali.

Tiscali are a good provider, but when I tried to cancel (6 days AFTER my contract finished) they came up with all these little hidden charges I WASN'T told about.
I'm now using Telewest's Blueyonder service 8) 1mb for the price of Tiscali's 512k

Cheers,

Carl
