Not really surprised.
The salaries are out of control nowadays and it's mostly because of the Free Agency.

Well, another year goes by without the Maple Leafs winning the cup, moahaha  ;D

Baseball is right around the corner!   Cant wait!

I hear you there, It's been baseball season for me since the super bowl ended.  I guess it officially begins at the end of the week as Spring Training begins.

but i feel a sport star should be paid in relation to the amount of money they bring in.

Shouldn't this then apply to all jobs? The more a company earns the more the employees should be paid, now we all damn sure know this is not the case in real life.
Still no linked images allowed around here Paz! Naughty...

Kinda knew this one was coming.. not really surprised. I wouldn't be surprised if next year will be lost... or if the league folds altogether. Thankfully I own a copy of NHL 2002 for the PS2, no labor problems...  yet.

Sure, I'll miss the real thing - gotta love play by play with Mike Lang. No I won't miss the expensive parking at Mellon Area, the drunk guy two rows in back of me making a idiot of himself, the $4.00 hotdogs, the Penquins finding a new way to loose every game, Mario bellyaching about a new area (along with his bruised ego... err I mean hip), and my sister talking trash when the Flyers beat the Penquins.
