You mean just ... um... "erotica", or ALL files? ;) ;D   Do I have to count, or is there a way to ask the PC to spit out a total?  I do know that I've got about 11GB free on my 40GB HD since I cleaned house recently... still quite a lot of apps, though (I'm always trying stuff out).

Please enlighten me too. I must confess this is something I've not thought about before. If I have to count them manually it will take longer than the time I have left on this planet. :o

It would be interesting to find out but I dread to think how many files are on my poor old machine. I recently had a clearout & freed up 11 Gb simply by moving all my photos (my own photos - not erotica ::)) on to a remote HD as she was starting to struggle a bit. Images take up a heck of a lot of space & if you take as many photos as me you will soon fill up that HD if you're not careful.

.....After 12 months I still have 92 GB unused ::) All my pics are on DVD though so that helps..commoner ;)

This is so funny.

When we first bought our computers, the system was probably filled with only about 20,000 files total. But then, after we start filling it with so much kR@b, the total skyrockets faster than the Apollo missions of the 1960's. ::)

Funny isn't it? ;D

To find this info, click Start/Run, type cmd. Then in the box that appears type 'dir /s' (no 's ) it'll take a while and then a the bottom of the box you will see two numbers, the number of files and the number of directories.
