Supposedly if u can control a black hole it is the key to going back in time...I believe that steven hawking tried to prove that it wouldnt happen but new studies have proved his theories wrong... i think i read that somewhere

The term "black hole" is misleading, as I understand it. It's not really a hole, just an extraordinarily dense object.  Gas from nearby stars and light itself do not necessarily plunge into these things to be spit out God-knows-where; based on what's known so far, they fall into a very close, very rapid orbit (sorry, I can't recall where I read this). Of course, only a probe will tell the tale conclusively, even if it just gets close enough to get a really good look, but if black holes are portals of some kind, how come they are seen "eating" things, but never seen "spitting" them out? As far as I know, the only thing ever detected emitting from a black hole was X-rays.
 And I'm with Hagar: until I hear of something emerging intact from a black hole, I'm not gonna volunteer for that ride. Mars, maybe- but not that one.

Well Hagar its a little hard to find a black hole and if you do, you will never have enpugh time to send a portal to catch one as they move at incredible speeds(so i ahve been told) Hagar whats your theory on this? lol oh yea and anyone else's?

well spitty what i heard was that the blackholes get sucked into them selves thus sending them somewhere else....
i may ave made that up though
i believe there are two kinds of black holes receivers and senders..... ones that absorb stuff and ones that spit stuff out

Well Spitty. My theory is that these are all theories & unlikely to be proven during my lifetime. This being the case I have plenty of more mundane things to worry about, like how I'm going to pay my next gas bill.

PS. At the rate my money keeps disappearing without trace I think I found one of those black holes - in my wallet.

Theorising & solving all the world's problems is all very well for you young sprogs with plenty of time on your hands & nothing better to do. I've done my fair share of that in the past. I came to the conclusion a long time ago that nothing I think is likely to change anything so I gave it up as a bad job. As I mentioned before, I'm a lot happier now.

I agree Hagar i mean solving the world's theories on guess work, never know ing you could be correct or not is fun for some but i guess for others like yourself and i , it is just downright boring and it is never accurate!!

I agree entirely Paul. Thank goodness for that. The problem is that nobody believes us old fogies. They have to find out for themselves. When they do eventually find out nobody will listen to them either. We were just the same so I spose it's one of those things.

Hmmm, I've started theorising again. Not a good idea. Time for a nice cuppa methinks. That solves most of my problems instantly.
