In my opinion the term "new parent" does not apply when you have two kids. ;)

We've got to stop her from breeding more potential Harry Potter heirs who might continue the hype in the future!

Unless you're using the good old-fashioned Terry towelling nappies* you don't know the half of it. Don't know they're born these days. Mutter, mutter. :P ;D

*PS. Much more environment-friendly than Paddi-pants or whever they call them new-fangled things.

I think that depends on who you listen to - & what you wash them with. I've seen the arguments on both sides but I know which I think is best.

Interesting how this started with Harry Potter then went to nappies (which I've figured out are what we yanks Americans call "diapers")

Heneyway...I'm glad my daughter is through with them (she was one of those stubborn ones...)

Harry Potter is referenced twice in the Dark Tower series.  There are these weapons called "sneeches"...flying, homing, hand grenades basically.  The ones you see are called the Harry Potter model...Motto:  We'll Kick the Slytherin out of you!

There's also a reference to Dobby, the house elf (in this case, Dobby is a type of Robot.)

I'm curious to see where she goes with this...there's a rumor that Harry is going to die in the end.

It can only end in two ways. Harry dies. Or Voldemort dies. My thinking is she'll kill off Harry to ensure she doesn't have to write any more. ;D

Of course if Voldemort dies, there really isn't any more to write either.  Harry'll just go on with his happy little life, nothing to read about.  Plus, this way would be a much happier ending.  If it occurred the other way and Harry dies, there'd be a lot of people angry with Rowling.
