just when you think the Steelers might make it a good game with that quick touchdown...they get a 15 yd penalty and end up not getting that interception which on the next play the PATS score ::)

Fire Cowher.

First and goal from the seven... give to Bus for 2yrds. I'm ok with that.

Second and goal from the 5.. pass?!?!? Are you on crack?!?!?! Run again, any postive yardage is good... you're in four down territory.

Third and goal from the 5.. run for 2 more. I'm ok with that.

Fourth down - Field Goal?!?!?! Score the TD and the Steeler's have a serious chance of winning the game.. major momentum shift... fasten your seat belts. What do you do if it is fourth and goal from the two or one yard line?

Go for it when it fourth and 5, but not here?!?!?!

Did I mention how much I miss hockey? Looks like I'm sportless for a while now.

May I be the first to pick the Patriots by (at least) 7 in the Super Bowl?  Probably more like 10 or 14.

The idea was that a field goal made it an 11 point game, meaning a TD (with 2 point conversion) and a field goal ties the game.  Although it was a tough call, I thought it was the right one.  There was still about 13 minutes left and thats plenty of time to score 11 points-and 11 points is far easier than 14.

Plus the field goal was certain pretty much. After the plays that they had run failed, why throw away any chance.

So you take the field goal on fourth and goal from the one yrd line or two yrd line? I still think it was a really bad call... it must be just me.

well when you can look back at it the day after, its easier to decide. But i do honestly believe it was the best choice. It was obvious Cower was looking to put Maddox in and that drive he was no doubt expecting Big Ben to mess up big time. It wouldnt have mattered either way anywhoo as the Patriots were not going to loose last night. Give it a year or two and i promise you, Pittsburgh will be lifting the superbowl trophy.

I don't doubt that, I believe this is the last season of New England's dominance.  They will still be good next year, but with the dismantling of their coaching staff which is going to take place, this will likely be the end for them.

Its definatly going to be interesting to see how much of the sucess is down to the staff, and how much bill.
