No one will ever be good enough in the eyes of the fans.

I don't know about that.

I agree Richie. If he retires, it will be soon.

To be honest, there is only reason that I could see him retire this offseason.  He would probably retire if his wife's illness got bad and he needed to take care of her.  Other than that, I would expect him to be back next year.  Hopefully that won't happen.

I'd have to agree with that.

I know There will be those who can replace him in terms of playing ability, but its just the legacy. As it was pointed out, Brett still plays football just to play football. The guy still lives in Mississippi with his family even though he would make it easier on himself to move to Wisconsin.

0 and 4 here too.  Really thought Seattle had a chance but once again they were their own worst enemies.

maybe next year. Thats what i have to keep saying to myself ::)

Side note i was wrong, Coach Shanahan has said Osama Bin Plummer will get his contract renewal. Which i am quite happy about really, at least it will shut some fans up who keep asking for us to get Drew Brees. Plummer is much better on the run than Brees, and i know you dont like Vick Richie but i still think Plummer is every bit as good on the move as Vick, he isnt quite as fast but much better at avoiding and breaking tackles and makes much better choices for when to run, so is less likely to get hurt by it.
And poor old Randy Moss ::) :-/ What did he think would happen when he mocked mooning the Green Bay crowd,  I hate the Eagles but i cant wait to see them crush the Vikings.

dragging this old topic up ::) I was searching for some news on Brett Favre and his future, still nothing but i did find out one interesting fact i never knew. His first completed pass in the NFL was to himself, it was deflected in the air and he grabbed it in mid air, because it was a forward pass it counted as his first.

Yup, I knew that too-it was legally his first completion.

I dont want Brees anywhere near a Broncos Uniform. Some Broncos fans at their main forum got it into their heads that Brees would be signed to replace Jake next year, personally i still dont see the big deal about Drew Brees, next year if he can pull off something simmilar to what he did this year then he will show me he's got true potential. But once again he showed in the playoffs when handed an opportunity, he just couldnt take it. I'd take Plummer over any of the FA Qb's this year every time i was given an option, he had some serious crap thrown up with his year, calling his wedding off at the last minute, the abuse he gets in Denver from the media every day, the fans who refuse to support him(those same fans who want Brees) the loss of his Friend Pat Tillman, and the middle finger incident. I think if he can get all that worked out in the offseason, the team as a whole will be 100 times better than anything any other QB could do with the team.
To confirm, Coach Shanahan has said Plummer will be back next year.
Thanks for the Favre stats, its always nice to add some new info to the old noggin:)

Hey Richie, this one might be for you as i can find absolutly nothing on it. The Broncos hosted a game of fame last year before the season, at invesco field. It was a flag football game between Elway and other former Broncos, and Montana and other allstars. Did you ever hear anything about this or the result?
