I believe he designed aircraft for FS, that may be why it was posted on the Flightsim forum...

Rey did his work in FSDS, and more recently, provided content for Abacus.

Not only was a good designer, but he also helped a lot of designers on the way.

Ray helped me when I was starting to get frustrated. The whole community will miss him, even if they never knew who he was.

This is awful news, Rey really gave to the community and he'd go out of his way to help someone.

Just found this - Rey was a regular at this site a couple of years back & still uploaded - he even wrote a couple of reviews about 2001 for us.

I never knew of him, but I know I flew some of his aircraft!  It's always sad to hear something like this, especially about someone who sounds like such a friend and asset to the FS community! :'(
