So, you get a one week grace period, following which the company charges you the price of the product (movie or game) (less the rental fee), but if you return it withing 30 days, you get a store CREDIT of the purchase price (less restocking fee) towards your next rental.

If you try to return it after 30 days, you're out of luck, you've bought the movie or dvd.

Not a bad deal.  "Either WE own it or YOU own it."

Here's the general idea they're going for.

You have a week's grace to return it.  If you don't, you own it.  If you return the movie 30 days AFTER the grace period is up, then they'll credit you the price of the movie....minus a restocking fee.

However, keep in mind that video stores pay RIDICULOUS amounts of money for their copies of things, so it's not like you're gonna get out of it with a $20 DVD...it'll more than likely cost you in the neighborhood of $100.
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.
