I want a Camera..a 600mm camera with a 2x teleconverter..which will give me a 1200mm camera

I'm also hoping for a camara.  I want to get one of those Canon Power Shot S500 Digital Camara's.  They seem like a nice point and shoot camara without being too expensive (for a camara).
