Ken Jennings progressively won $2.5 million with 74 appearences on the game show Jeopardy. He lost his position lastnight to a house mom.

Kenneth William Jennings III (born May 23, 1974) holds the records for the longest winning streak (74 consecutive episodes) and the most money won (over US$2.5 million) on the syndicated game show Jeopardy!, as well as other various game show related records.

My mom watchs the show every day and could'nt STAND Ken Jennings. She is a happy woman. ;D

 I personally think his leaving was either set-up or he was tired of being on the show, this guy has so much knowledge and is so smart but then screws up by answering a question about what companies employees only work 4 months of the year? He answered Federal Express, c'mon, everyone knows FedEx works year-round.
 I don't watch the show but when they showed the question that beat him on the news I was like "Oh please."

I agree with you! Not too mention he would certainly think that FedEx has more than 40,000 employees, just based on the fact that it is a World Wide company.
Also if you took into consideration the amount of his final wager, it seemed to me to be a uncommon amount for him.
