

The only time was on my first flight in a CRJ. I was pretty freaked. That was this May. I then flew 7 more times in the next two weeks and I was not scared a bit! I went to China, thats why there was 8 flights!

If you look back a few posts you will see that Andrew is just that.
I'm sure many experienced fliers would think twice about standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon (as I once did) or even on the roof of a building.

I can't speak for skydiving as I've never tried it & don't intend to. My old boss, a highly experienced flying instructor, once told me that anyone jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane needs their head seeing to. I'm inclined to think he was right.![]()

I'm more afraid of being on a latter or looking over the side of a building than I am being in a plane.
I'm terrified of heights, but the sudden rush of speed and the noise of the engines always turns the fear into excitement!

Almost glad to see TWA go...Though hopefully some of their aircraft were reconditioned before going back into service.
That one nearly gave everyone whiplash :-/
