Skydiving?

Postby BFMF » Mon Jun 21, 2004 1:20 am

I've decided that I want to go skydiving this summer. I'm starting to get excited at the the thought of jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft and freefalling at 120 mph and plummeting several thousand feet ;D

Could someone fill me in on some of the details/regulations/rules/costs and what it takes?

Thanks

Btw, how many of you skydive?

;D ;D First jumped when serving in the armed forces. cant tell you which regiment {security an all that} but I have continued leaping for many years.

An absolute must! I think all politicians should do a jump before going into parliment. It certainly levels the playing field! ;D ;D

By the way, try jumping out the back of a herc, now that IS fun!! ;D ;D
Remember, never argue with a fool....he may be doing the same thing.

we just had a guy in Australia who was recently murdered when someone cut all the cords attached to his paracute and reserve chute and packed it for him.

as they say there is one difference between sky divers and golfers . . .

One goes Whack!   Damn!

The other goes Damn!    Whack!

skydiving is not for me . . . . .

I'm going to go skydiving one of these days, I have always wanted too and one of my friends does it and loves it.  I'm sure I'll do it sooner or later.

Skydiving is fun, when you do it alone. The first 2 times I skydived I had someone strapped to me and it took alot of the fun out of it.

That's right, I'm now using an AMD! I decided to give them another try and they
