Yup its the longest day of the year time again!
Right everyone into their pagan costumes and off to Stonehenge for a bit of sacrifice (party starts at 3am)... do daffodils count for sacrifice?

I've seen documentrys that show that Stonehenge traps the light of the Winter solstice far better than the summer one.

Yup, definatley the longest day. Sun didn't go down till 10:15. A friend in Alaska says the sun goes down at 11:30 and is down for only a few hours!  8)

In Iceland you can have perpetual daylight this time of year, the sun just revolves around the sky but never actually sets. Weird to have daylight at 3 am!

Well Ozzy,
if you come to Inverness you'll get something near that. I awaoke at 4:00 am this morning and it was like noon day. at 1:00am it was dark, the street lights were on, but there was still light. I think we have 24hours of at least some light, even if it is only a bit on the horizon.
