I just read about this in The Guardian. Don't you just wish sometimes that you could do something like that. I know I'd be happy to do it to my mayor.

a Swat team blew up the door to get in, they havent said how he died from what i have read, although i might have missed some updates. Maybe it was the explosion that got him.

Apparently he shot himself some hours before they managed to cut a foot wide hole in the steel plates. The gun was found in the cab with him... :(
