Whats the difference.......

between Cafe Simviation and General discussion? I just wonder why there is two forums.

Cafe Simviation
The place where forums regulars can flick rubber bands & cream pies at each other. Smoking allowed. Flight Sim speak not allowed

The only difference I could fine is that you can't flick rubber bands etc and smoke in the General Discussion!
Is it really just a matter of choice when you have something that is not to do with flight sims where you post it?
Sorry for being so thick headed. I expect one of you will post back the obvious to everyone but me.

Basically, the cafe is where you post all the pointless stuff that no one really cares about but people read anyway.

General discussion is where you post stuff that has a point and is vaguely interesting.

Oh I see! The General discussion is for more sensible issues and topics, where all the dons post and the Cafe Simviation is where stupid nonsense goes that thick people like me post.

I like the old Cafe.... ...!
I was one of the first there when the doors opened, to order a nice cup of tea and a fairy cake.... ...!
