American Chopper

Does anyone else here think this is one of the coolest shows on cable right now?  The bike they did this week was based on a POW/MIA theme and is about the hottest bike they have ever done... :)

I watch it.  I don't like the chopped bikes that much as bikes but they are amazing works of art.

The Rules of the "American Chopper" drinking game.

1 sip if something expected to be a simple procedure on the bike turns into "a big problem".

1 additional sip if it occurs in the last 48 hours of the deadline.

1 sip if Paul, Sr. tells Paulie to stop absolutely everything he's doing to clean up the shop.

1 additional sip if Paulie argues about having to do it.

1 sip if Paul, Sr. treats Cody like a son.

1 sip if Paul, Sr. actually tries to do something nice and gets blown off, like helping Paulie with part of his latest theme bike, or wanting to take Cody someplace to see how some bike part gets made.

1 sip if Paul, Sr. yells at Paulie for being on the phone when he's "supposed to be building bikes".

1 sip if Paul, Sr. yells at Paulie for building bikes when he's "supposed to call that guy".

2 sips if Paul, Sr. smiles.

1 sip if Paul, Sr. does that nervous facial tick that looks like he just sniffed ammonia fumes.

1 sip if someone uses the phrase "incorporate this into the bike".

1 additional sip if it's last minute.

1 additional sip if doing so makes Paul, Sr. mad.

Chug a beer everytime Paulie says some part is "gonna look sic"

I'd watch it but the dad reminds me of a tatooed muscular version of my dad.  :P

Not a big bike fan. My next love after airplanes has to be ships. I'm the kind of guy who likes takes the bridge tours on cruise ships. Of course that was before they stopped that.  :(

Seen it a few times, not much into bikes but have to admit some awesome works of art!
Not to mention the "Three Stooges" slap-stick approach to the workplace LOL!!
One of my favorites was the "Firefighter" bike, pretty cool! 8)

I really got into this show. It was on Discovery in the morning and I saw it before going to work. Although I'm not a big chopper person, I am amazed at the work that goes into them and I'd love to see one in close up.
