Just watched it on DVD.
I'm no LOTR fan at all, but I must say I enjoyed the Two Towers more.

And who is this cool Witchmaster flying on the Nazgul?
I know he had the ring and all, but any additional facts?
Can somebody drop some info to a lost 'common man'  :)

That is the Witch-King of Angmar.  Sauron gave the nine rings of men to the Nazgul to make them his servants.  The Witch-King became to leader of the Nazgul and it was legend that he could not be killed by a mortal man.  In the books, this is explained in depth.  Of course, the prophcey was fulfilled; he was killed by a woman with the aid of a hobbit.  Eowyn actually had her arm broken in the fight, and the arm Merry used to stab the Witch-King with was numb for days afterward.

I was really dissapointed with the return of the king. I was expecting so much from it but when it came, it doesn't really compare to the two towers. The battle of pelanor fields was good though.

We just watched the whole series over the last several days, finishing it lastnight. It was ok, but I still don't see what all the fuss is all about ::)

I would much rather watch 'Band of Brothers' ;D 8)

Scouring of the shire could be in the extended version... Christopher Lee was promised his scene would be included.

From what i've heard they didn't even bother filming the scouring of the shire. So its not going to be in any version.
