all i can say is that the police in some of our areas need to take some action before something happens...........

The problem is, it's normal that the police don't take action until something happens. Thats the problem with the system. Sure, the law is fair, people have rights, but there are major disadvantages to this

That's the nice thing about here, it's not 100% a free country ( NO, i'm not a commie' ). For instace, in the US, police need a warrant to get into someone's house, here in turkey, the police can just barge into your home whenever they wan't, if they think your some kinda crime suspect.

Craig whatever you do, don't touch those children. Don't even approach them. The police will investigate even that if the children report it.
We've had 6 broken windows. Tiles off our roof, parts of the garden vandalised and eggs, stones, snowballs, mars bars you name it against the house/windows and tonnes of verbal abuse. The same kids are on drugs and have done all sorts of criminal damage elsewhere, starting fires, pulling apart street lights etc. Yet NOTHING is done because nothing is the only thing that can be done. We've just had to sit  and lump it. Don't get me wrong Craig, I am full to the neck with experience on police and kids and what us innocents can do about it,(excuse the boasting), and there is very little that can be done.
What you discribed is happening everywhere. You haven't done anything to them yet they pick on you.
The best thing you can do is just to phone the police every time they do something and open the door to scare them off when they start. Its frustrating I know and tiresome, but thats all you can do.
Our society is rubbish, its laws are stupid, and its governing ministers are useless.

Yeah. Its really sad. The latest we've had is one of our two half yr old trees snapped. . It is completely destroyed. These wretched kids have broken uprooted appox 8 now, Maybe more I've lost count. Thankfully it has been relatively quiet recently.

Also in the US if those kids get hurt on your property you can be sued even if they are trespassing, amazing you can be held responsible for any harm that may come from someone who isn't suppose to be there!
If I was you Craig I would throw some stones of my own, knock one of the brats upside the head with one, then when the law comes make them prove you threw it! They wouldn't be able too, so you should have no worries.
As far as them suing me for thier brats getting hit upside the noggin, go for it won't get nothing from me, besides a bunch of bills
