this is a very odd accident just for the fact that any idea for a reason for the crash, can be easily prooven as not being the cause. I would like to make a guess, but they have all been covered in the topic artical and investigation. At first i thought it was because it made contact with the DC10, but with no damage to it, and the fact that Fed ex hasnt got red paint in the livery. Then theres the thought of a brd strike, however that wouldnt explain the piece of metal, or the red paint again(prooven not to be blood) very unusual

I find it odd that she and her husband and friends are the ones recovering what I think are crucial parts of the aircraft (prop, cargo, etc) 700lbs of wreckage the "pros" didn't find!
Seems to me that priorities weren't met on the part of the Transportation dept. Government cover up comes to mind.
Just becasue the fact that the sister is out finding wreckage to solve this mystery makes me thing he was hit by something the Government doesn't want the public to find out about.
Meaning if the Government authorities really didn't know what might have happened they would be the ones out looking for answers! Hell they spent almost three months investigating a Cessna that pounded the runway here even after the pilot admitted that he came in to fast for a safe landing. They had the answer, no investigation needed! Pilot admitted he screwed up! But they kept "looking into it".

But that is just opinion, but not the first time a cover up has taken place.

Yes, but if you look at the photo of the aircraft, there is no visible red.  In addition, it was mentioned that there was no red on his plane.
Great edit, Bob.

Do you think maybe that the "red paint" might have something to do with the swamp it fell in?
