I always smile when I saw the opening to that show. It was filmed in the town that my dad grew up in. The church that he drives by? Where my dad went to church until he enlisted in the Navy. That street? The same street he walked to school on.

Great edit, Bob.

as for t-pol i aint complaining:) much rather it would have been seven of nine but oh well:)

Ah, 7of9 ;D Resistance IS futile ;)
Here's one for Craig. T'pol I think is mentioned in the original Star Trek. (I think it's the one where Spock has to fight Kirk over a mate.) Could it be the same one? Vulcans do live a long time.

The episode is "Amok Time" and the Vulcan is T'Pau (as in the 80's pop band), not T'Pol.

As a life-long Trekkie (Trekkers are pretentious wannabes) I can honestly say I would be completely happy if they never made another Star Trek Movie or TV show again.  The Franchise has strayed so far from Roddenberry's original ideas that it's nothing more than another Babylon 5 or Stargate.

As for the books, they were never considered part of the Star Trek canon, even though several authors have gone on to write for the series.  You can just ignore them.

As for Enterprise, this is the worst of the entire bunch.  It couldn't be worse if Shatner directed it...  ::)

P.S. I heard Hoshi was going to die.  Anyone know if that is true?

I wouldnt mind if star trek dies, honestly it has gone so far beyone flogging a dead horse, I cant think of something to compare it to  :P .

In my eyes the next generation was the best series, but when voyager and deep space 9 came along, it just became a mockery.

Thats just my view though  :) .
