POLICE BREAK UP GRADUATION PARTY

In Alabama, a late night party turned into an early morning raid with more than 39 teens arrested.

Police were called to break up a graduation party in Gordo for a group of teenagers from Tuscaloosa.

When officers arrived, they found several teens passed out in cars and had to chase down others who fled into woods.

Police confiscated about 60 gallons of beer and around 40 gallons of mixed drinks.

LOL now that has to be considered a little excessive right ???

Didn't a rapper do a song about that a few years ago?

"Alabama knows how to party..."

Sounds like a light evenings drinking to me. Hardcore is when you secure the local off-licence and happen to be armed with a bottle opener and corkscrew ;D

That's a lot of booze. Only in the South. What surprises me the most is that there are people from Alababa who actually graduated.  ;D

Humph.

Reminds me of my high school days.

Really, that doesn't add up to much in terms of kegs.  A half-barrel, which is the large size, holds about 15 1/2 gallons of beer.  That comes out to just under 3 kegs of beer.

Just a regular, every weekend party where I come from . . .
