First the Raptor, now the shuttle?

Postby Wing Nut » Fri Apr 16, 2004 6:37 pm

First they're talking about cancelling the F-22, now they're talking about dumping the space shuttle?  Man, there may be some bad times coming in the future for the space program... >:(

Now, I don't mind them cancelling the F-22 but cancelling the space shuttle program is just batty! And I fear that it is because the war in Iraq costs so much that NASA is unable to attain suffient funds :-/.

I heard they were planning to go back to capsules for all space work....
Hmm well it'll be interesting to see what happens, especially with the Russian shuttle under refurbishment.

1.  Launch a rocket that will dump a geosynchronous Satellite somewhere over Cape Canaveral.

2.  Lower a very long rope from said satellite.

3.  Climb rope.

Actually getting in space is easy.
Look at www.airspacemag.com for info on the modern space capsules.
What I want to know is how we will be able to puy the ISS together?

Righto, ic now. So if I get sick I'll just ask him! ;)
What sort of nurse is he? I know a number of nurses ranging from tutors in hospitals to dental nurses, as well as a number of specialized ones, it seems to be quite a varied line of work. Maybe Will should answer that himself!

He's one of the ones who walks around in a low cut top, short skirt, suspenders, high heels and a kinky little nurses hat with a red cross on it. You'll find him at a desk filing his nails. ;D
