Fancy a Detail Shot?

Postby Scorpiоn » Mon Apr 19, 2004 4:01 pm

I took detail shots during my last visit to an airshow, stuff like gears and the space between flaps and such, so if you like stuff like that, gimme a PM.  I also have some normal action shots, so I'll try posting those this weekend.

Be forewarned though, I have no scanner, so brace yourselves for the quality.

Can't say there were.

The closest thing to your liking might possibly be a Sea Fury in RCAF colors.

Mustangs, Skyraiders, Wildcats, lots of Modern Jets, Ju 52, B-17, Helldiver, Dauntless, Couple o' Zeroes...

Others too!

But no He 111 or F4U!  I heard the F4U had a weak wing spar, and He 111 crashed a month or two before the airshow. :'(

But the worst part, is they promised a simulated bombing run with a B-52!  And the B-52 sat comfortably within the sable ropes during the whole airshow!  False advertising to say the least... >:(

I'm still trying to get my head round this. ???

Please post your shots if possible Scorp. I'm always pleased to see original photos of warbirds. ;)
