Help Flight Spam

Postby Iroquois » Thu Apr 15, 2004 7:20 pm

Found a good anti-spam info website. Spamhaus is a world wide organization whose sole job is to fight spam. Take a look for yourself to get more information and see a list of the top 200 spammers.

An interesting bit of info found on the site. The top 10 countries where spam comes from are listed below.
1. USA
2. China

7. Argentina
8. Russia

10. UK

Since registering with my ISP to warn me of incoming spam, and block it, my In Box now contains TWICE as much spam by returning it to me with the message....

Mailer Deamon. Mail returned.
Mail Delivery Subsystem. Mail returned.
...etc, etc,...

It gets sent to the original senders address, who then appears to change their address, so that it gets bounced back to me again... >:(...!
Crafty Buggars... >:(...!

...and so it gets worse and worse... :'(...!

Cheers all...!

Paul.

P.S.  apparently, most of it originates from Florida...5th. Amendment, Freedom of speech, and all that malarky... >:(...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.
