Another airline logo trick...

Postby flyboy 28 » Tue Apr 13, 2004 9:57 am

Craig pointed this out to me (CraigL). If you look closely at the old Northwest logo, it shows an "N" as well as a "W", formed by the compass point and the N...

Look closely...

But Mr. Larter, being as observant as he is, has said that the new logo dosen't do the same trick... ::)

But the new logo is pointing north west.
I also prefer the old style.

Another good logo down the toilet ::)
I remember when BA changed theirs to these new psychadelic ones, Baroness Thatcher whipped out a white hankie from her handbag and tied it round the tail before letting rip at the head of BA for being some kind of penis-cranium on national TV!!! I like Maggie ;D

the new logo, points northwest on one side and northeast the other. It also no longer has the clever NW design just a simple triangle.
As far as the 10 is concerned the old scheme looks much better, on certain aircraft the new scheme looks better. Overall i like the old scheme better though

There was only one good logo in the history of Logos.... checkout the old Millwaukee Brewers baseball logo...... it had it all for me, then some bright person thought they could improve things with change......NOT IN MY EYES !

Amen to that!  I really wish they would go back to the old logo.  The current style is okay, but nothing compares to the old glove.

Hey Jared.  Are you stalking me?  For every post I make, it seems like you're the next to reply.  Just wondering.  :)
