Try SimCity 4 Deluxe. You can drive, fly, sail, place individual people.

I heard about that. Sounds interesting  ;D. Anyway, my dream Sim would be having all the aircraft and airlines, with real flight plans. The scenery would be better and in the weather you can create severe thunderstorms and tornados.  ;D

If you really screw up, you can even die - for real.

Even if you don't screw up. Jeeze people can't drive around here.

I'd like a sim where I can rule an entire planet. Whoops, that already exists. SimEarth. The glory days of Maxis.

Anyway, I wish someone would make a really good sailing sim. I think it would be neat to take an outboard out on the lake or even pilot a mega cruise ship. I hope Microsoft is paying attention. They've already conquered the air and land, it's the sea that's next.

One word: Pacific war! ::)

It was two but what the hey.  I've always found the Pacific to be much more interesting than the other theatre of WWII.  Something like CFS3, open structure campaign, autogen, better placement tho' (Not so many trees in the cities!).  Mini campaigns based on historical battles - Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, although I'm not too sure Pearl Harbor would work that well.  The technicality of FS2004 too.  CFSs seem to be oversimplified in my opinion.  No AI only aircraft...  Mission builder that is easy to use (like CFS2, not like CFS3)...  Dynamic weather...  Realistic water...  Graphics like FS2004 (just compare the sky of CFS3 and FS2004)...  Made by Microsoft...  Umm... Oh yeah, ground units that really advance and battle with each other, a bit like CFS3, but more active.  Overall, the feeling that you're just one pilot in an active world.  You'd see cargo ships transferring supplies to carriers occasionally, stuff like that.  That's all I can think of...

And of course, the F4U has to be in it! ;D And some nice meatball donning planes for target practice! ;D

Ruling an entire planet...nice idea,orenda.
But I'd extend that to a "God" simulation. Ruler of an universe...
Bad Day? Nuke someone...
Rival annoying you? Nuke him...
F*cked up your planet? Nuke it...
F*cked up the universe? Supernovaaaaaa....

I should go and get my medication...

Err well probably some kind of Spitfire simulator (with optional Hind of course ;) does everyone know I had a go? ;D ;D ;D yup I'm still gloating :P) and the ability to take out my neighbours and quite a few members of my family plus all my students and quite a few colleagues, politicians, government pen-pushers, and the Spice Girls with EXTREME prejudice 8)

Ozzy :)

I must say that a sailing sim would be the worst thing ever. At least with driving and flying sims you can get joysticks and wheels. Who's going to want a tiller and half a dozen ropes infront of their pc?

My ideal sim? A cross between Panzer Elite, CFS3, Hidden and dangerous2 and MOHAA.

If the graphics are good,so you actually can do some sight-seeing,I don't think that it'd be boring.
