IMHO its very stupid thing to risk causing damage to your eyes for such a silly thing like this, and it should be prohibited before concerned parents with irresponsible teens at home have to cope with their children going blind.

Sickening sums up that crazy and most stupid idea. I just can't think what has got into some people. The surgeons should be promoting health and furthering peoples welfare, not encouraging and promoting such vile ideas.

its basically pushed deep into your eye mucus(spelling) its thick enough to hold it in place. Like Will said, have you ever tried to get an eyelash out:)

OMG.

I just shiver at the very thought of piercing an eye. It's completely and utterly sick.

It's a good that that the US military prohibits that sort of stuff. Punishment will be: Be forced to have that stuff removed, then face disciplinary actions such as a possible dishonorable discharge [which will be on your record for the rest of your life]. Such a bad record can ruin you so much that one might not be able to even flip burgurs at McDonalds.

It's not even worth getting a piercing like that.

My eyes are perfectly fine. No need to make them look good. They already are. ::)

The eye is so vonurable to infections that a cut in the eye would allow diseases to sneak in and cause serious damage.
