Opening Day!!

 For those who missed it, yesterday was opening day of the 2004 baseball season.  (My Mariners first game is this afternoon....GO MARINERS, RAH!!!)  Already Barry Bonds has hit his first home run, bringing his life time record to 659, one behind my boyhood hero of Willie Mays.

I don't think they do...as I recall, the time I went to a Braves vs. Blue Jays game, there was a Cher concert going on in the Leaf's arena.  I think Fox is is saying that his interest in the Jays only comes when hockey is over.

I personally prefer EPL soccer.  Way too much sittin around in baseball.  Same with football.  And basketball has far too many time outs.  And the NBA is just herds of gangsters... :-/

Jaffa got it right...Hockey first, other sports after.

Jared...you could always go to an Indians game to watch the other team. If enough people did that the Indians would be able to afford a team of their own.

Almost everybody in Toronto (pro sports teams) has it's own arena or is getting one.

Maple Leafs (NHL)- Air Canada Centre
Road Runners (AHL)- Ricoh Centre (Brand New)
Blue Jay(MLB)- Skydome
Argos(CFL)- Skydome, but getting a new grass field facility
Raptors (NBA)- Share Air Canada Centre...but ownership for both teams and the facility is MLSE (Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment)...you figure out who gets priority.

Hope the Jays do well until it's time to watch them.

I know.  I'm just waiting and hoping for a salary cap, although it doesn't look to bright.  But hey, in the meantime, they're 3-1 with only 158 games left.
