You have no right to force your habit upon anyone else in this world, and the only way we can protect the rights of the non-smokers is to ensure there is sufficient clean airspace between the smokers and the clean air breathers
I don't force my habit on anyone, and as a matter of fact I respect the "non-smoker" and don't smoke around someone if I know they might be offended. But of course it always comes down to the rights of the "other person" God forgive I should have rights.
so if it means that you have to go outside where there are no others to infringe upon, then be our guest
It is just as easy for the "infringed upon" to step outside too, go ahead go out and take a deep breath of those "noxious" clouds of car exhaust, factory emmissions, and multiple other pollutants that fill the air, killing trees, wildlife, and people (smokers and non)
Sorry seemed too have made a real valid point

Let me just say, I'm a smoker who is not proud of my addiction, and I don't force it on anyone. As a matter of fact I try and encourage people not too even start. I respect others around me by not smoking, be it in a resturant, public building etc. And I do that out of common curtiousy not because I'm not allowed too. Even though my comments might not suggest it I do respect others around me even though they don't respect me and my rights.
The topic started about a airline and I agree that smoking in a airplane isn't right, the non-smoker can't step outside for some "fresh air"

, some places are obvious where smoking shouldn't be allowed, hospitals, schools, gas stations etc. But banning it everywhere is not right.
It comes down to: one group of people wanting more rights than the other and that is where the problem lies.
Where one group of people know what is right for all people. Falls directly into the catagory of discrimination and censorship both of which I hate with a passion!
And because of that I get defensive in my postings which I apologise for.
I'm really a nice person with a bad habit that seems too offend people, now lets look into the bad habits you have, that might offend me.

P.S. Rifleman, when using words like "you", "non-smoker" etc. I wasn't directing any of my comments directly at you but too all people who feel the same way as yourself.
