Russian

Postby ozzy72 » Fri Mar 05, 2004 6:36 am

Okay its time to admit that help is need. Pippin has acquired some Russian language aircraft manuals/pilots notes, we need some help with the translation, as my Russian is purely cockpit orientated, and none of my Russian teaching friends know any of the technical words, and we can't find them in the Russian/English dictionary.
So can you speak Russian, or know someone who can and who knows a bit about aircraft?

Thanks
Ozzy

Ivan ain't Russian. I very much doubt whether he'll know how to translate an aircraft manual. I don't think we've ever had many Russians round here.

I replied to this thread earler today mentioning that Katana was Russian.

Come to think of it, I've had several posts disappearing lately

I often wonder what happened to Katana as well... ::)...!
I remember he started off badly, got better over time with our combined help...
..and then it all went pear-shaped just before he finally disappeared... :o...!

I've been russian here and russian there but I can't find a Russian dictionary anywhere.... ;D...!
LOL...!

Cheers all... ;D...!

Paul.

P.S. BMan...Didn't Katana live in your neck of the woods at one time...Los Angeles...?

I believe Katana lived in the Washington D.C area.

Cuz if I remember right, when the DC sniper was on his killing spree, Katana was a little on edge at the time

I think Katana got banned a while back, he went off the deep-end in a thread sometime in Autumn.
