I was right about where the V12 came from. And it is the DB8. Even if its not called so.

logically that is so, as the go from the db 7 to the db9, although the still kept the db7 in production as a "less expensive car"

even if the vanquish is the db8 nobody, including aston martin refers to it as such

btw both the db9s and db7s come with V12 engines
