A SnoCone is nothing but crushed ice with a colored flavoring, cherry, blueberry ( the ultimate stain!)
That stuff will stain your lips red (blue) and won't come off!!!!
I went to a doctors appointment once a day after eating a blueberry flavored one and you could imagine the questions I got when they saw my lips! I had the flu at the same time so I looked dead!! ;D ;D

I assume nobody forced you to consume it so therefore you only have yourself to blame. ::) No use coming to me looking for sympathy. :P

A slush puppy is exactly that slush, you drink those, a SnoCone you have to eat unless you wait for it to melt.

So sorry Hagar a SnoCone is ice cream, minus the cream! :)

In that case I'll stick with my Magnum if it's all the same to you. ;)

Yes Hagar your right, Shame on me :-[
I should know better than to use the forums for comforting :)
Is that your mode of transportation?  or is that Hagar's idea of Meals on Wheels?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ozzy I belive that it is now called "caucasian chocolate" ;D

I find this funny considering the topic here, I went to be sure that i had spelled "caucasian" correctly and here is what I got:

" Of or being a major human racial classification traditionally distinguished by physical characteristics such as very light to brown skin pigmentation and straight to wavy or curly hair, and including peoples indigenous to Europe, northern Africa, western Asia, and India. No longer in scientific use. See Usage Note at race1."

"# A local geographic or global human population distinguished as a more or less distinct group by genetically transmitted physical characteristics.
# A group of people united or classified together on the basis of common history, nationality, or geographic distribution: the German race. "

So even Dictionary.com is PC!!

In easy to understand form even if not PC: White
Just ask some of our fellow officers of the Law here how they fill out their reports, or any Government paper work for that matter, that is how I always "labled" myself.

Funny but true, one time when I was filling out a job application it ask certain questions I couldn't resist answering in my own demented way.

Sex- Whenever possible
Race- Yes, Saturday evening
In case of emergency call- 911

Needless to say the Employer didn't have a sense of humor and refused me the job. :)

PS. Note that we call it ice cream rather than iced cream.

That is what I have allways called it, Ice Cream.
But I have noticed allot of packaging it is labled "iced".
The same goes for tea, I have always called it "ice tea" but I think the correct term is "iced tea" ???

By the way, what is a Magnum?
Here in the US it is a large bottle of beer (40oz) or a bottle of wine.

Photos of this delicacy are rare. This will remain so until I can take one myself. As it's a tad chilly around the old lug'oles here at the moment this might be some considerable time. In the meantime, this is the only one I can track down. They come in various flavours but like Ozzy I prefer the original "plain" Magnum which is basically a white ice cream bar on a stick covered in chocolate . Delicious. 8)

I give you the Wall's Magnum. ;D

You seem to have some hang-up about something named Snow Cones

"Snow" is also a euphemism for cocaine, hence a PC-type person might have a reaction similar to a female bovine afflicted with a severe nervous system disorder to see an otherwise tasty confection (albeit with negligible nutritious value) named that way.

Quite so. This also applies to the short name used for arguably the most popular soft drink in the world, Coca-Cola. I'm told that the original "Coke" recipe actually contained a small amount of the drug. Whether this is true I have no idea as only a few people have ever had access to the recipe which is a jealously guarded secret. ;D

This is a good example of how things could turn out if PC is taken to extremes. I'm sure you could find something potentially offensive to somebody in almost anything if you looked hard enough. Then every little thing we're familiar with would have to be changed, possibly at vast expense, for no valid reason at all. ::)

Whenever I hear the term "Magnum", the first thing that comes to my mind is a powerful handgun. ;D

I've seen those guns up-close and personal. Those things are heavy and L-O-U-D!!!!!!!

I suppose this would depend on your own experience. Although I obviously know what the Magnum pistol (if that is the correct term) looks like from watching Hollywood films I have no interest in hand guns. I believe the term Magnum (meaning larger than usual or double-sized) originated from a particular sized bottle of champagne. A Magnum of Champagne is the equivalent of 2 standard bottles.

These terms, which include French bottle descriptions and approximate bottle sizes, are: split-equivalent to 187 ml or one-quarter of a standard wine bottle; half bottle-375 ml; magnum-1.5 liters/2 standard bottles; double magnum-3 liters/4 standard bottles (in bordeaux); Jeroboam-3 liters/4 standard bottles (in champagne) or 4.5 liters/6 standard bottles (in bordeaux); Rehoboam-4.5 liters/6 standard bottles (in champagne); Methuselah-6 liters/8 standard bottles (in champagne); Imperial-6 liters/8 standard bottles (in Bordeaux); Salmanazar-9 liters/12 standard bottles; Balthazar-12 liters/16 standard bottles; and Nebuchadnezzar-15 liters/20 standard bottles.

There is a shooting range here in SW Miami and it's called Trail Glades Range. I use to go there once.

Over there, that's where I first saw the Magnum. That thing is a beast. It's so loud, you can feel the shockwaves traveling through your body.

I use to see a small kid over there being allowed to shoot an M-16 rifle [under adult supervision ::) ]. However, the kid held the rifle the wrong way and almost dislocated his shoulder when he fired.

Whatever floats your boat. ::) Personally, I'd rather have a magnum of champagne - & I don't particularly like champagne. :P ;)
