The Earth does not rotate.

The outer shell of the globe is stationary with respect to the rest of the universe.  The universe, along with the planet's core rotates about an axis coincident with the Earth's North/South axis.

The Earth's core is actually split in two halves, about the equator, with each half rotatating in opposite directions.  It is left up to the reader to develop the obvious and apparent conclusions.

Cogito, ergo sum.

The shell? You see the earth is a m&m. The outer layer (the shell) is a blend of green and blue. Then, the core is a rotating peanut. (Powered by morlocks of course.) The core is also covered by magma, which is a chocolate layer. Although, since blue m&ms did not come out until the late 90's, it was green before that.

If you are wondering why the oceans were blue before the late 90's its because of the electromagnetic spectrum. Because blue has the shortest wavelength, it can play tricks on our eyes. Blue can cause our pupils to dialate and make a shades of green appear blue, i.e the oceans. This is ture for real images and virtual images.

Along the same lines, I feel compelled to believe that the moon in fact made of cheese.

Its definitely cheddar.

This is the clearest explanation I've ever seen. In fact it's better than most theories. ;D

Silent. Do you mean inflate it? ??? If you intend sending it to oblivion please wait until I'm no longer here. I intend staying for a few years yet. After that you can do as you please. :o ::)

Hi Hagar, glad to that it makes sense so far.

Silent, hope things calms down soon.

P.S If my theories are to be used by somebody else, it is to be footnoted and credited as any other serious author.

I don't know this....If you had a toilet right on the exact equator, which way would the water go?  Would it try to go both ways at the same time?  Do nothing?  Just go right down?  Or get confused and explode?   ???

Hi Hagar, glad to that it makes sense so far.

Makes perfect sense to me old chap. 8) :D

Mind you, I'm not sure this helps poor Fozzer out with his original question. I doubt his brain, or what's left of it, behaves like an M&M. Oh, I don't know though. ::) :P
I still think his best bet is to head for Australia & find out for himself. ;D

P.S If my theories are to be used by somebody else, it is to be footnoted and credited as any other serious author.

Don't worry. You will get full credit. ;)
